As a Business Solutions specialist, Jessica Nichols (“Jess” to her friends) knows about building bridges between technology and community boards. Jess does an amazing job managing a long list of to-dos for a multitude of communities, managers and internal operating teams.Jess started with AAM in January of 2013 after receiving her Bachelors of Science degree in Graphic Information Technology from ASU. Creating and maintaining community websites is her largest priority. She frequently communicates with Community Managers to ensure the best possible service is provided to AAM’s communities. “I do my very best to train managers on what they need to know so they are more knowledgeable when interacting with boards. I believe it helps create unity with our company’s image if our managers are as well-informed as I am,” Nichols states.
Jess’ expertise isn’t limited to assisting just one department. Her skill set includes knowing the ins and outs of many technical applications such as Sharepoint, CRM, Click Dimensions, SEO Marketing and project management. She offers assistance to almost every department throughout AAM and she was enthusiastic when asked about her department. “AAM has a pretty amazing IT department. I feel lucky to be a part of such a talented team of individuals. I’ve learned so much in such a short time by being a part of this company,” she said.When asked what the most rewarding part of her job is, she explained that it is having the opportunity to work creatively and give artistic input on a project. “It’s fulfilling to see an original idea being put to use. That’s what I love about AAM- their encouragement of original ideas.”In Jess’ free time you can find her outdoors. Whether rock climbing, hiking or road trips up North, she loves being in nature. She is also a fantastic photographer who never turns down an opportunity to get the perfect shot.
