Employee Spotlight: Vicki Sears


For over 26 years, Vicki Sears has played an active role in the community association management industry.

Prior to being named Vice President of Customer Service, Vicki held many positions in her 18 year tenure at AAM, including on-site Community Manager, Portfolio Manager, Document Preparation Specialist, Training Manager and Area Manager where she mentored, trained and supported novice Community Managers.

In her most recent position, she oversees and manages over 30 employees spanning across 6 departments including Customer Service, Transfers, Disclosures, CLDP, Community Services and New Mexico Operations.

The highly decorated Sears is the recipient of the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers specializing in community association management, the PCAM® and AMS® designations from Community Associations Institute (CAI) as well as a CAAM® designation through the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM).

She was also awarded the Rising Star for her service this past year on CAI Central Arizona Chapter’s Education Committee. This committee generates classes that showcase topics of specific relevance geared towards the betterment and ongoing training of Community Managers and Board members. CAI’s Education Committee has hosted a variety of classes including the Best Practices Series held this year, in which Sears was instrumental in creating and implementing.

“What I love most about our industry is that no two days are ever the same,” stated Sears. “Every day provides me with an opportunity to learn something new and ongoing education is such an important element to this industry and I am thankful to be able to help not only Boards and Community Managers but homeowners as well.”
