Committed to Preserving His Community

Manistee Ranch community would like to recognize the Board President Ron as their Neighborhood Hero. Ron moved to the community in 2001 and began serving on the Board of Directors in 2003. Recognized not only for his tireless work and dedication to his community but also the numerous organizations to which he devotes his time. Ron is an active member of the Arizona Preservation Foundation, Committee member of the Annual Statewide Historic Conference, and also serves as the president of the Glendale Arizona historical society.

In 2012 he was awarded the Ruth Byrne Historic Preservation Award for his significant contribution and dedication to the preservation of Glendale’s historic heritage. And most recently in 2013 he was honored with the first ever ASU distinguished Community Partner Award from ASU’s school of Geographical Science and Urban Planning. The award recognizes a community member who provides ongoing leadership support to ASU planning.
