AAM Gives Back Through Community Involvement

Creating a Culture of Compassion

One of AAM’s key fundamentals is, “Give Back. Pay Forward.” Annually, AAM partners with a local charity, as well as promotes a culture of giving back to the community by offering employees numerous company-sponsored volunteer opportunities. AAM also rewards employees who put in the most hours volunteering.

2020

As part of our 30th anniversary celebration and to further our community outreach initiatives though AAM Gives, our corporate volunteer program, we partnered with local homeless agencies to provide volunteering and fundraising type efforts.

On January 20, 2020, a group of 25 of our Arizona employees participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Day of Service to benefit the Andre House, a Phoenix-based homeless shelter/agency that meets the immediate needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. At this Day of Service, AAM and Andre House volunteers helped clean up over 100 bags worth of trash in the neighborhood surrounding the Andre House.

2019

On March 8, 2019, we hosted our 15th Annual AAM Trade Show at our corporate office where 68 homeowner association vendors were invited to exhibit their services to Arizona Community Managers and corporate employees, while concurrently raising money for charity. This year, we had the privilege to partner with Care Fund, an organization that financially and resourcefully supports Arizona families who endure financial hardship while experiencing extended illness or injury of their children, including mortgage or rent support. All proceeds from the tradeshow were gifted to this organization.

Through the tradeshow and by the generosity of our employees and vendors, we were thrilled to present a donation in the amount of $10,881.00 to Care Fund.

2015

To celebrate its 25th year in business, AAM employees were dedicated to committing over 1,000 volunteering hours, which was accomplished in just 4 days! AAM had the incredible opportunity to partner with Back to School Clothing Drive, an outstanding organization that provides new school uniforms and outfits, backpacks and school supplies for over 25,000 children in need.

For the event, held July 13, 2015 through July 16, 2015 at Grand Canyon University, AAM sponsored the days of service in which they encouraged all 300+ Arizona based employees to volunteer and help distribute the “back to school” items to the children. More than 10,000 underprivileged children were in attendance and were overjoyed with the outpouring of support they received and with the items they were able to take home with them.

In addition to the volunteer hours, AAM also asked employees to donate essential school supplies to help fill the backpacks that were being dispersed at the Back to School Clothing Drive event. It was a giant success! AAM was able to donate:

  • 1286 pencils
  • 124 packs of crayons
  • 262 glue sticks
  • 108 scissors
  • 194 pink erasers

Additionally, AAM provided a check of $5,000 to aid the organization for future events and donation purchases. AAM was humbled to be a part of this unforgettable experience.
